Decision of the African Commission
For the above reasons, the Commission
Holds a violation of the following provisions of the Charter: Articles 1, 2, 4,5,6, 7(1)(d), 7(2), 9(1), 9(2), 10(1), 11, 12(1), 12(2), 20(1) and 26of the Charter (for the period within which the violations occurred).
Requests the Government of The Gambia to bring its laws in conformity with the provisions of the Charter.
