The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights and the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption have signed a Cooperation Agreement

Today, on the sidelines of the African Union Summit, the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACHPR), led by Honourable Chairperson - Prof. Remy Ngoy Lumbu at policy level and Executive Secretary Mme. Abiola Idowu-Ojo at technical level, and the African Union Advisory Board on Corruption (AUABC), led by Honourable Chairperson Mme. Seynabou Ndiaye at policy level and Mme. Charity Nchimunya at technical level, signed a Cooperation Agreement. This agreement underscores their shared commitment to advancing human rights and promoting good governance across Africa.

The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in addressing human rights violations and combating corruption, fostering enhanced institutional synergies and a unified approach to driving sustainable development, peace, and accountability across the continent.
