For these reasons, the Commission
Holds a violation of Articles 6, 9(1), 9 (2), 7 (1) (c), 7 (2), 14 and 16 of the African Charter;
Requests that the Government of Nigeria take the necessary steps to bring its law into conformity with the Charter.
