Uganda: 2nd Periodic Report, 2000-2006

The report is a cumulative report describing developments with regard to human rights in Uganda as from the year 2000. It first outlines the cultural, legal, economic, social, and political norms and practices of the Republic of Uganda. It then outlines the legislation and practice of Uganda's obligations under the Charter, with a section for almost each Article from 1 to 26.

The report concludes with Supplementary Information presented at the 39th session of the Commission, regarding the death penalty, protection of an accused persons, women's rights, elections and ratification of international instruments.
