Banjul, 29 October 2025; The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the ACHPR) wishes to inform State Parties to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights, Organs of the African Union, National Human Rights Institutions, International Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and the general public, that the Closing Ceremony of the 85th Ordinary Session of the ACHPR is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

WHO: The Commissioners and the Secretariat of the ACHPR, all States Parties, Organs of the African Union, National Human Rights Institutions, International Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations, and other members of the general public are invited to attend.
