CALLS FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - INTERNSHIP

The Secretariat of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (the Commission) extends a Call for Expression of Interest from suitably qualified persons to take up an Internship with the Commission.

Applicants must be citizens of a Member State of the African Union during the contracting period.

The African Union does not offer remuneration to Interns. Therefore, this call is for an unpaid internship.

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria;

4 x Legal Intern:Applicant must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized university.

1 x Finance Intern:Applicant must have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (specializing in accounting).

2 x Secretarial/Administrative Services intern: Applicant must have a minimum qualification Diploma in Secretarial Services; French/English bilingual preference.

A Bachelor’s degree in Administration would be an advantage.

2 x Information Technology Intern:

  • Information Technology IT Support Intern - Applicant must have a minimum Degree in Information Technology.
  • Information Technology Web Intern - Applicant must have a minimum qualification Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
