The Country Rapporteur on the Situation of Human Rights in the Republic of Kenya, Honourable Commissioner Solomon Ayele Dersso, learned with shock the passing away of the Chairperson of the Kenya National Commission of Human Rights (KNCHR), Roseline Odhiambo Odede.
In the course of executing his mandate as country rapporteur, Commissioner Dersso benefited from close working relationship with KNCHR under Chairperson Odede.
He sends his message of condolence to the KNCHR and expresses solidarity with the family and friends of Commissioner Roseline Odede.
