The Secretariat of the ACHPR hereby confirms that, following the signing of the Hosting Agreement with the Republic of Congo, on the 11th October 2007, the 42nd Ordinary Session of the African Commission, will take place in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, from 14 to 28 November, 2007, as scheduled.
The Secretariat deeply regrets the inconvenience caused by the late confirmation of the venue and dates of the Session, and sincerely hopes that invited participants will still be able to attend.
While all efforts are being deployed to send out the invitations, it would be highly appreciated if, in the light of time constraints, traditional participants would kindly accept this as official invitation to the Session.
