The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) is the premier regional institution responsible for the promotion and protection of human and peoples’ rights in Africa. It was established in 1987 by the Organisation of African Unity (“the OAU”), now the African Union (“the AU”), under Article 30 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights (“the African Charter”) as an autonomous treaty body. Its Headquarters is located in Banjul, The Gambia.
The African Commission hasallocated funds for the procurement of the above mentioned Services and related activities, and now invitessealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Provision of Security Services to the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) on a two (2) Year Running Contract with a possibility of renewal (See details of services and scope in the attached Terms of Reference: Section 6 of the Bid document, and the Bid data sheet).
Bidding is open to all companies with experience in Provision of Cleaning Services for the last three (3) years. Only companies with trading license shall be considered. Brokers or agents are not eligible. Technical and Financial offers should be submitted in separate envelopes.
Interested Bidders may obtain further information at the following address between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours: ACHPR Secretariat, 31 Bijilo Annex Layout, Kombo North District, Banjul – The Gambia.
Financial and Technical offers must be delivered in two separate inner envelopes to the ACHPR Secretariat on or before 15 December 2020 17.00 hours local time. Envelopes should be clearly marked with the Title of the Bid and procurement number.
Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days. Bid opening will be by the ACHPR Internal Procurement Committee. Late Bids will be rejected and returned unopened to Bidders.
